Mallow Run Premium Beef

Mallow Run Premium Beef is restaurant quality beef raised on our family farm in Johnson County.  Cows and calves roam on green pastures and are fed a balanced, natural diet of grasses, hay, and grains grown right here on the farm.

Individual cuts will be available at Mallow Run Winery beginning in mid-May (ask to see current selection!).

We are now taking deposits to hold beef until processing, which will take place in late April or early May.
 
Pricing is similar to last year, in that you would pay Mallow Run for the beef itself, but pay the butcher (Kenny’s Fine Meats in Mooresville: 831-6453) directly for the processing (and give your own cutting instructions directly to them).
 
Prices for this Spring 2016 are
$3.15 / lb hanging weight for a QUARTER
$3.10 / lb hanging weight for a HALF (side)
$3.05 / lb hanging weight for a FULL
PLUS PROCESSING.
 
Processing per Kenny’s last year was
$30 + $0.45 / lb hanging weight
Additional fees include
-making patties ($0.45 / lb  made into patties)
-split side fee $6.00  (So this applies to anyone getting a QUARTER, or “splitting” a side of beef)
