Artist Series
Mallow Run Winery is proud to present our Artist Series Wine project. In honor of our 20th Anniversary, we’re releasing a special wine featuring label artwork from a local artist. To celebrate 20 years of wine and community, this year’s theme is Works of Art inspired by Mallow Run Winery; this could be the Tasting Room, Mallow Run history, or a special memory.

2025 Artist Series Competition
Contest Art Guidelines
- All entries must be electronically submitted to hayley@mallowrun.com before midnight on Monday, March 31, 2025.
- Each artist may submit a maximum of three (3) works.
- Artwork must be ORIGINAL, completed within the last five years, unframed size minimum 20” longest side, maximum 36”
longest side. - Artwork must be inspired by Mallow Run Winery’s 20th Anniversary.
- Acceptable media are two-dimensional works of: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel/colored pencil, and pen and ink/
charcoal, and mixed media. No computer art, photographs, sculptures, or reproductions. - Prohibited artwork: Any work executed in a class or under the instruction of an instructor; copies of paintings or published
photos; and improper subject matter. - The 2025 release will be a white wine, typically in a clear bottle. The capsule color & background color of the label will be determined to complement the art and bottle.
- The final reproduced label size will be no smaller than 2.5” x 2.5” and may be a cropped portion from the original.
- The winning artist will be expected to sell the original artwork reproduced on the wine label to Mallow Run Winery for potential hanging in the tasting room or The Sycamore at Mallow Run.
Winning Artist Award and Recognition
- Artist’s name and artwork will have the honor of being featured on the label of the 2025 Artist Series wine.
- Artist and artwork will be recognized on the Mallow Run Winery website (with link to artist website if available) and
social media channels with 50,000+ followers. - If the winning artist is 21+, s/he will receive one case of the special wine (sorry, we cannot ship; pick-up only).
- Mallow Run Winery will host an artist reception/bottle signing event for the winning artist.
